Q. WHERE DO WE MEET?
a. 6:00pm Emmaus Centre carpark, cnr Herbert St & Central Ave, Paddington
Q. HOW LONG DOES IT GO FOR?
a. Meet Friday at 6:00pm at Emmaus Centre and return by 9:30am Saturday morning
Q. WHAT DO I BRING?
a. Light bag with any personal requirements etc
Sleeping bag / blanket / pillow [if needed]
Bible / Rosary beads / any prayer materials required
Q. WILL WE BE TAKING OUR CARS?
a. All persons attending will leave there cars at the Emmaus Centre carpark and an emergency vehicle will be available throughout the event if needed
Q. WILL I BE SAFE AT THIS EVENT?
a. The safety of each person attending is first priority! This is a FRONTLINE EVENT [please consider this before registering] and with this comes possible exposure to confronting situations. The leadership team for this event will take whatever precautions are needed in the unlikely event of a harmful situation.
Q. WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING AT THIS EVENT?
a. The focus of this event is to experience a night in the shoes of a homeless person and be immersed in their culture. There will be prayer through out the night and a midnight Eucharist. The event will conclude with a BEM hot brekky at the Pindari homless mens hostel at 7am and then dropped back to the Emmaus Centre before 9:30am.
