Blind Eye Ministries is a new area of ministry for the Emmanuel Community, launched in 2010 devoted to the works of social justice.

The name 'Blind Eye Ministries' emphasises the need to open our eyes to the poor and the needs in our community & not turn a blind eye. The motto 'never see a need without acting on it' is taken from the words of Mary MacKillop, our Australian saint.

VISION  |  To minister the Gospel in areas of social injustice.  To create opportunities of community for the underpriveleged in our society.  Matthew 25:40

BEM is in its formation stages, and the extent of the ministry will unfold over the coming years. The stages of action planned include engaging and interacting with the local community through service, creating specific outreach events and opportunities, and incorporating those interested into community life.
